SCIENTISTS SAY : LIFE COULD NOT HAVE FORMED ON ITS OWN
Scientists continue to wrestle with one of the biggest problems in evolutionary thinking: how life could have possibly arisen from non-living matter. A recent mathematical study (article below) revealed that the odds of a self-replicating protocell forming by chance are astronomically low—so low that it essentially should never have happened. The complexity of the information required for even the simplest form of life makes random chemical processes an insufficient explanation. In short, the numbers say life shouldn’t exist if unguided evolution is true.
Faced with this glaring problem, some scientists have actually turned to a highly speculative idea: maybe life was seeded on Earth by aliens. Yes, extraterrestrial intelligence—beings from another planet—might have deliberately planted life here, they say. This claim reveals just how desperate naturalistic science has become.
Rather than acknowledging the obvious—that life requires intelligence and design—they propose science fiction scenarios that only push the problem further back. After all, where did the aliens come from? Who designed their ability to seed life?
What’s striking is that these same scientists who are willing to entertain alien creators scoff at the idea of the true Creator, God. They reject the Designer who has revealed Himself through creation, through Scripture, and ultimately through Jesus Christ, while inventing theories that sound more like a sci-fi movie than real science. The truth is simple: life is too complex, too information-rich, and too finely tuned to be the result of chance or aliens. Life testifies to an intelligent Creator—not a hypothetical extraterrestrial, but the living God who made the heavens and the earth.
